As a certified card manufacturer following ISO 14298, the exceet Card Group now also produces and personalizes the Austrian railcar driver’s card in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology.
The document, which is valid throughout the EU, serves as official authorization to drive rail vehicles such as trains, trams or railcars. With its security features, the proof of identity complies with the strict EU requirements. Safety and expertise are equally important in rail transport and in the production of high-security documents.
Every day, thousands of railcar drivers in Austria transport a large number of train passengers. One of them is the Tyrolean Bernd Hofmann. He gave our Head of Segment Government, Roland Theiner, an insight into his daily work and the new Nightjet during the joint photo session.
