Despite intensive research, no material has yet been found that can fully replace PVC as a card material. All the more reason for us as a map producer to focus on environmentally friendly production, short transport routes and, wherever possible, the use of alternative materials – such as this grass fiber paper.

The photovoltaic system on the roofs of our production buildings in Kematen in Tyrol makes an important contribution to our environmentally friendly actions. The electricity demand that cannot be covered by solar energy is offset with green electricity. Every year, this enables us to avoid around 400 tons of CO2.*

We also take our responsibility towards people and nature seriously in other production steps and have converted our thermal printing production system to a low-chemical variant. This system uses clean working chemistry without silicates, alcohol or solvents, resulting in reduced chemical consumption as well as less chemical waste.
We offer PVC alternatives. In our product portfolio, you can find wooden cards, grass fiber cards and cardboard cards, among others, which are suitable for many applications.
