exceet Card Group acquires Scandinavian ID solutions provider idpeople

Skovlunde (Copenhagen)/Kematen (Innsbruck), January 23, 2024 – exceet Card Group, based in Kematen in Tyrol (Austria), is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of chip and plastic cards in the fields of government, banking, transportation access and retail. The company enjoys a high level of international trust and supplies the Swiss driving license and the driving license of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), among others.

By acquiring the Danish Government ID specialist idpeople, exceet Card Group strengthens its position in the government sector. In addition to its production sites in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Czech Republic, the company is now also present in Scandinavia.
