We were delighted to welcome Florian Tursky, Austria’s State Secretary for #Digitization, to our headquarter in Kematen/Tyrol. In addition to the production tour, the agenda included an #expert talk with exceet Card Group CEO Uli Reutner, exceet Card Group COO Robert Wolny and bluesource CEO Wolfgang Stockner.
As one of only twelve security printers in #Europe holding the ISO certificate ISO 14298:2021 “Management of Security Printing Processes”, the exceet Card Group provided insights into their card production at its site in Kematen, which is also VISA and Mastercard certified.
Florian Tursky explains: “Personal data and sensitive services – if you think of banking, for example – ought to be stored or processed in Austria and at least in Europe. Both, the public sector and private owned companies, have a special responsibility here. Nobody wants its personal, sensitive data to be sent all around the world. With companies like the exceet Card Group based in Tyrol the data are protected from any kind of abuse (also a criminal one) in the best possible way – as a result of the latest chip card technologies and innovative security solutions.”
As an owner-managed #company, the exceet Card Group continues to build on the strength and diversity of opportunities offered by Austria as a business location. “We invested again in the expansion of our VISA- and Mastercard-certified production site at our headquarter. This keeps the exceet Card Group deep-rooted in the heart of Tyrol,” affirms Robert Wolny. With the acquisition of a stake in bluesource, the exceet Card Group has deepened its long-standing partnership and realized an important step in the execution of its strategy for the digital markets.
Uli Reutner: “We are doing business in exciting times – economically and socially. To master the challenges, we need more #collaboration between businesses in politics and consumers. The most important currency in times like these remains #trust. The exceet Card Group is future-oriented. With our #knowhow in security topics and the corresponding digital interfaces, we are continuously expanding the #competencies in our market segments Government, Banking, Public Transport, Access and Retail.”
